Welcome to Object Detectives

Object Detectives brings ICT-rich activities to Key Stage 3, inspired by a wonderful mixture of items from leading museums in the South West of England.

Choose a subject-based learning journey, or go to the Object Browser (database) or Teachers' Area.


Learning Journeys:

Art & Design - In 'Under Investigation' learners respond to colour-coded Thinking Skills questions. They investigate and select images and information for a printable Object Stash.

This is followed by a chance to create a themed exhibition in 'Exhibition Time'.

These are graphics driven interactive animated activities without text-only equivalents.

Object Browser

Use this database to bring ICT into any KS3 classroom. Find creative inspiration, investigate facts and sources and evaluate different perspectives on artefacts and artworks from a range of times, places and cultures. The real things can all be found in South West England.
