Welcome to Object Detectives
Object Detectives brings ICT-rich activities to Key Stage 3, inspired by a wonderful mixture of items from leading museums in the South West of England.
Choose a subject-based learning journey, or go to the Object Browser (database)
or Teachers' Area.
Learning Journeys:
Art & Design - In 'Under Investigation' learners respond
to colour-coded Thinking Skills questions. They investigate and select images
and information for a printable Object Stash.
This is followed by a chance to create a themed exhibition in 'Exhibition
Time'.
These are graphics driven interactive animated activities without text-only equivalents.

Object Browser
Use this database to bring ICT into
any KS3 classroom. Find creative inspiration, investigate facts
and sources and evaluate different perspectives on artefacts and artworks from
a range of times, places and cultures. The real things can all be found in South
West England.

Teacher Notes Area
Go to this area for teachers’ notes, sample lesson plans and suggestions
